At Tüyap Fair Organization Group, we are committed to the principle of "OCCUPATION HEALTH AND SAFETY FIRST".
Our main goal is to control the risks to the employees in fair areas, prevent work accidents and occupational diseases, and take every necessary action regarding these matters by ensuring compliance with the legal obligations imposed on us as the Group and you as employees.
The Group views people, including customers, contractors, tenants, subcontractors and their personnel as well as visitors, as its most valuable asset, and aims to offer everyone a safe and healthy environment as its primary business goal.
It does so by taking the following factors into consideration:
 * Cooperation and Participation,
 * Risk Management,
 * Planning,
 * Communication, and
 * Safety Measures.

1. Cooperation and Participation
All TÜYAP Fair Group units, including especially the occupational safety teams, stay in contact with participants and decorators to monitor activities during the fair preparation and stand dismantling period and the fair itself. The Group reviews current legislation, shares applicable laws and regulations with its stakeholders, and includes them to its Occupational Health and Safety Guide.

2. Risk Management
Based on the occupational accidents and near misses that occur in our facility, we review risk analyses and emergency action plans, updating them as necessary.

3. Planning
Before start of the fair preparation period, fair coordination meetings are held to discuss responsibilities and operational issues and re-evaluate Occupational Health and Safety considerations. Issues that need further attention are also discussed during board meetings, and necessary actions are planned and taken accordingly.

4. Communication
Regular training and drills on occupational health and safety issues are carried out with the participation of all of our employees -our most valuable assets- every year to give them opportunities for personal development. Guidance is provided at our facility through visual signs, markings, signs and stickers, in addition to verbal communications, to guide our stakeholders during the fair period. Before the fair preparation period, information about all our stakeholders who will enter the fair area are collected through the registration stands at designated points in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Personal Data Protection, and the collected information is questioned during field inspections at certain periods.

5. Safety Measures
From the fair preparation period onward, as part of physical security measures, only those people and company employees who submit all of the necessary documents in accordance with the legislation are accepted into the facilities. In cases where people and company employees who failed to submit the required documents are detected inside the facilities, they are removed from the area without the need for issuing a warning.
Starting from the fair preparation period, hall attendants along with the OHS control and surveillance personnel monitor the fair area. The control activities are recorded, and when a Major risk is identified, the respective booth is closed and de-energized to prevent undesirable events.
Therefore, the managers and booth officers of the participating companies are obliged to fulfill the legal requirements and the requirements specified in the Tüyap Occupational Health and Safety Guide in order to protect their personnel and subcontractors against occupational accidents and diseases. They are responsible for warning their employees about hazards, taking all necessary measures, training and checking on them, making available and ensuring proper use of all necessary tools and equipment.
All tenants, participant companies' personnel as well as subcontractors' personnel working in the fair areas hosted by Tüyap Fairs Group Companies are obliged to comply with the legal requirements and the rules set out below. Personal Protective Equipment as appropriate for the task at hand should be used during work.
We include the measures taken accordingly in our Occupational Health and Safety Policy and strive to ensure compliance with the policy.
