“Mining Turkey” exhibition will be organized by TÜYAP Fairs and Exhibitions Inc. in cooperation with the Turkish Mining Development Foundation between April 19-22, 2008 at Tüyap Fair, Congress and Convention Center Beylikdüzü-Istanbul/Turkey.
Being in the middle of a constantly changing world, Turkey has become a center of commercial attention among the Middle East, Balcans, Russia and the Caspian countries. Turkey attracts a lot of attention in these regions due to it’s continuously developing industry, trade and natural resources. The country has potential abundance of boron, zeolite, pumice, trona, baryte, celestite, feldspar, antimony, chrome, copper, magnesite, gold, silver, rare earth materials, coal and natural stones. In recent years, investment decisions of leading mining compaines in the world is a good proof of this development. Turkey produces 180 million tons/year of metallic mines, coal, industrial minerals, natural stones and cement raw materials.
