İstanbul Book Fair Celebrates its 30th Anniversary

The İstanbul Book Fair is Europe’s most reader-rich event with over 300,000 visitors and 570 exhibitors over 35country. For the third time, we will honour to host the leading professionals of the publishing sector between November 12 th - 15 th  at International Hall.

IBF hosts all leading publishers of Turkey and sector professionals from 30 countires like Germany, Spain, France, Romania, Italy, United States of America, Cuba, Finland, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Turkey, European Cultural Centers and NGO’s.

 NEW AT IBF Literary Agencies’ Section

For the first time, a “Private Section of Literary Agencies” will be established in the International Hall by the contribution of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism and with the participation of international literary agencies. In 2010, leading literary Agencies such as Antonia Kerrigan Literary Agency and International Editors’ Co. from Spain, Piper and Poppenhausen Literary Agency from Germany, Pierre Astier&Associates Agency and Anna Jorata Agency from France, The Susjin Agency Ltd. from England, Andrew Nurnberg Associates Ltd. and Loredano Natundo Literary Agency from Italy participated to the fair.

The literary agencies share their experiences and explore recent developments ın sectoral events.

Istanbul Book Fair At A Glance

Since last year, IBF welcomes a guest of honour country and hosts events focused on cultural allies between guest and home country.  Besides, IBF does the honours by programming more than 300 events, a variety of autograph sessions brought together hundreds of writers with their readers.
