3rd PAPER - CARTON - CORRUGATED PRODUCTION AND PROCESSING MACHINERY,

PAPER BASED PACKAGING TECHNOLOGIES FAIR AND CONGRESSES

Despite the decreasing speed of development of paper, cardboard and corrugated board sectors across the world, especially in Western Europe; Turkey which is in a permanent state of growth both economically and culturally has become an international center of power and attraction thanks to the increase in paper and carton consumption as well as the increased use of packaged products as the country evolves into a more urbanized lifestyle.  Turkey ranks the 25th place in the world in paper and board production, 18th in total paper and board consumption and 58th in per capita paper and board consumption. These figures prove that Turkey is a promising country in terms of the growth of the paper and board sector and is a central country affecting its neighboring countries. Moreover, its geographical location at the junction of Eastern Asia, the Caucasus, the Balkans and Northern Africa and its cultural, social and economic relations with the countries in these regions verify Turkey's strategic and advantageous location for establishing and developing economic relations with a dynamic market that encompasses over 600 million people.
