In cooperation with The Jewelry Association of İstanbul established under the leadership of The New Development Group, our corporation Tüyap Fairs Inc. will stage the GOLD İSTANBUL fairs, between the 17th and the 20th of February 2011 at the TUYAP Fair, Convention and Congress Center, İstanbul.
The GOLD İSTANBUL Fairs will be a marketing platform where companies dealing in various segments of the Turkish jewelry sector will bring out their collections, reflecting their high production capacities and design related skills.
The Turkish jewelry sector, thanks to its historical and cultural inheritance, and the variety of alternative designs that it has offered to the world jewelry sector and its high quality, now ranks 5th in the world’s jewelry production. In 2008, its exports reached USD 1,507 billion which corresponds to an increase of 1,84 %. Through the GOLD İSTANBUL Fairs, TÜYAP and the New Development Group aim to enable the jewelry production to be ranked among the first in the world.
The GOLD İSTANBUL Fairs, prepared with the contribution of TÜYAP’s 30 years of know-how, determination and endeavor, aim to increase the strength of the Turkish jewelry sector in the world’s jewelry markets.
Through active promotional activities launched both in Turkey and abroad, the GOLD İSTANBUL Fairs aim to reach thedir visitors related objectives as well as the world standards.
This work is being carried at high level of intensity in the countries that are our target countries and markets such as Russia, The UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Iran, Azerbaijan, the Ukraine, Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, The Czech Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Poland, Romania, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Syria, Jordan, Georgia, and Turkmenistan and in Turkey in Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, Denizli, Diyarbakır, Elazığ, İzmir, K.Maraş, Mersin, Samsun, Trabzon, and Kocaeli where retail sales points are the most concentrated and in Alanya, Antakya, Erzurum, İskenderun, Kilis, Kütahya, Şanlıurfa, Adapazarı, and Aydın where retail sales points are developing.
The qualified visitors with high purchasing power coming from the target countries, special purchasing delegations as well as the editors of important magazines covering the developments in the sector for target groups will be hosted within the framework of these fairs and the GOLD İSTANBUL 2011 Fairs will take a leading place among the jewelry fairs staged around the world.
