WOOD PROCESSING MACHINERY 2009 and INTERMOB 2009 FAIRS, organized by TÜYAP every year consistently, has been developing with the sector since 22 years. WOOD PROCESSING MACHINERY and INTERMOB fairs attracted both domestic and foreign attention, while witnessing important activities.

Based on previous inspections and assessments, the Wood Processing Machinery fair has received EUMABOIS support this year.  As it will be known, the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers is comprised of 13 woodworking machinery manufacturers associations and supports only one fair in every country.

Through much effort over the years, our events have become important agenda items and have brought together the latest technologies with their buyers.  Our events receive attention across the world and were attended by members of the American Hardwood Export Council ( AHEC ).

Expanding by 10 percent in item base, and by 4.5 in endorsement base on domestic markets, the sector hopes to convalesce after the VAT reduction, despite the 20 percent recession in the first quarter of year 2009 resulting from the major effects of the crisis.

As the edifice of strength, faith, determination, hard work and cooperation, our fairs contribute significantly to the development of the industry.  In 2010, the fairs will be held between the 16 - 20 October 2010.
